We are a new Christian School in the Parrish, FL area and are looking to enroll students who want to learn their lessons with a Christian Biblical worldview. Education in America used to teach from this point of view, but few schools embrace a Biblical worldview today. The secular world tries to mock and make the Word of God be irrelevant for today’s culture. In modern academia, the Bible has been sidelined as fiction, myth or a fairy tale.
If we want to pass on the faith to the future generations, then we need to do something radically different from the world around us. We must live counter-culture and that is hard unless we have the convictions to do so. We want to help you as a family do this by educating in a way that supports the Bible, history, literature and science. We feel all subjects compliment the Bible as the Bible compliments all subjects. The Bible is the Christians guidebook but few people today have the comprehensive Bible knowledge that one needs to live a victorious Christian life. Here at Selah, we want to change that. We want to equip our students with Biblical knowledge and show how it intersects with all other subjects in the only way that explains the way the world works. Since God is the One who created the world, He knows how it works and we need to study it from that perspective.
