Statement of Fundamental Christian Beliefs

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe in the Triune God; one God in three persons–Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of out Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, that He died for our sin, and through His shed blood we receive the forgiveness of sin, in His bodily resurrection, in His Ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal future return in power and glory.
4. We believe that mankind is born into original sin because of the Fall in the garden. We believe the only hope for redemption for fallen mankind is to be saved from this condition through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus is the only way, truth and life. The fallen individual must recognize his depraved state, repent of his sin, confess Jesus as his Lord and Savior and maintain a vibrant relationship with Jesus. Romans 10:9,10
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who indwells and empowers the saved individual to live the Christian life.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those who are saved to the resurrection of life and those who are unsaved to a resurrection of damnation.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
8. We believe that Christ died for all, loves everyone and desires that all come to repentance. We believe that as a Christian we are to testify and be a witness of the Good News–the Great Commission as mandated in Matthew 28:18-20.
